Privacy Policy

When you email the firm, book a consultation, or request a download, you provide your name, email address, and whatever you choose to tell me about your business and the mark you want to protect. That information is used to respond to you and, if you become a client, to carry out the engagement.

The site also records ordinary technical information through analytics: pages visited, referring source, approximate location, browser and device type. That data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

Consultations are booked through Calendly, and email is handled through a third-party provider. When you use those tools, your information is also processed under their own privacy policies. I use them for scheduling and correspondence only, never to sell or share your data.

I use AI-assisted software in limited, supervised ways: research, drafting support, document review, and searching public trademark records. Every output is reviewed and revised by a licensed attorney before it reaches you, the USPTO, or an opposing party. No filing, opinion, or advice is issued on the basis of AI output alone.

Client confidential information is not submitted to any public or consumer AI tool, and I do not permit vendors to use client or prospective client information to train their models. Where a tool cannot be configured to exclude training on inputs, it is not used for client matters.

AI features on this site, if any, are informational. Nothing generated by them is legal advice, and interacting with them does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Information you send before an engagement is signed is treated as confidential but may not be privileged. Do not send sensitive material about a dispute until we have confirmed in writing that I can represent you and that no conflict exists.

The site uses cookies for basic functionality and analytics. Squarespace, which hosts the site, records the ordinary technical information described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; some parts of the site may behave differently if you do.

The site also uses the Meta Pixel, an advertising tool from Meta Platforms, Inc., the company behind Facebook and Instagram. When you visit, the pixel places cookies in your browser and sends Meta information about your visit: the pages you view, actions you take on them such as clicking a button to book a call, your IP address, and browser and device details. If you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram, Meta may connect that activity to your account. I use this to measure whether my ads are working and, in some cases, to show ads to people who have visited this site. The pixel does not receive your name, your email address, or anything you type into a form on this site.

Calls are booked through Calendly, which has its own Meta Pixel connection. It tells Meta which booking steps were completed, for example that a call was scheduled, so I can count bookings that came from ads. It is not used to send Meta your name or the answers you give when you book.

You can limit this in several ways. In Facebook or Instagram’s Accounts Center, “Your activity off Meta technologies” lets you see and disconnect the information that websites like this one send to Meta, and “Ad preferences” lets you limit how Meta uses it. You can also block cookies or use a tracking blocker in your browser, or opt out of interest-based advertising from many companies at once at aboutads.info/choices. Client files are retained for the period required by the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar and applicable law, then destroyed. Inquiry records are kept only as long as needed to respond and to check future conflicts. I use commercially reasonable safeguards, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

You can unsubscribe from any email at any time using the link in the message. You may ask what personal information the firm holds about you, ask that it be corrected, or ask that it be deleted where no legal or ethical obligation requires me to keep it. Write to hello@citrus.legal.

The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. Material changes will be described at the top of the page.
